Architectural intervention and audio installation; indigo-painted wood slates framing 1646 gallery’s facade and interior window. Audio piece over doorway of song, original music, field recordings, found samples.

There’s a belief that haints (bad spirits) won’t dare to cross water, and so to paint the windows and doors to one’s house in a bright blue mixture of indigo and lime confuses them and keeps them at bay.
